We will continue to develop programs and youth empowerment initiatives that would ensure that we help young people that are passionate about Public relations. This is in line with our CSR objectives and contribution to the growth of the PR and Communications sector and landscape.
“We are really impressed by the level of creativity and technical capabilities displayed by each of the contestants; they have made us realize we are indeed pursuing a worthy cause; that is why we have decided to extend the internship opportunity to four (4) contestants rather than just the winner”.
Applicants were required to write an essay on how ‘Public relations agencies have transformed brands in Nigeria and the key drivers that have made it possible’. Five contestants were selected from this stage and given a Public relations brief to respond to where the final winners were selected.”
OnoriodeEdafe, winner of the grand prize said that
“I am really grateful to the organizers of the CCPC and Sesema Public relations for this opportunity, winning this competition was a shock to me considering the caliber of contestants I met here, but I am really happy I won. I have learnt a lot already from the pitch process, but I know that the internship opportunity would give me a huge jump in my career and I am grateful for that”.
The Corporate Communication Pitch Competition (CCPC), the first of its kind in Nigeria, is an initiative of Sesema PR and it is aimed at identifying bright communications graduates to avail them a platform to build a career in Public Relations and Digital Communications.
