Super Eagles Players Get N10m For Victory Over Tanzania

For the victory over Tanzania, the Akwa Ibom State Government have rewarded the Super Eagles with the sum of N10million.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been rewarded with the sum of N10m for their 1-0 victory over Tanzania in a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

This report has not been verified as all emails and calls to the Vice president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Seyi Akinwunmi have not been responded to.
The alleged reward comes following the reports that the Super Eagles players will not be paid bonuses for the game against Tanzania.
According to sources close to the team, the players were informed that they won’t be getting any bonuses for the games due to unavailability of funds to the Sports Ministry.
