Okorocha Blasts PDP, Says Stop Using Refuse To Score CHEAP Political Points

Rochas Okorocha, the Imo State Governor has said the chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Imo State, were using the refuse along Douglas Road to draw sentiments for themselves as well as score cheap political points.

The Governor made the statement yesterday in Owerri in a press statement issued to newsmen through his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Sam Onwuemeodo. He said:

“The Rescue Mission government in the state has noted with concern the efforts of some chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the state especially some of them at the National Assembly and those who still believe that the only way they can govern the state is by insulting Governor Rochas Okorocha on daily basis, to use the contentious issue of the relocation of the Ekeukwu market, and the heap of refuse along Douglas road to score some cheap political points and blackmail the state government.”

“Some of these PDP chieftains who have not visited the state for several months are now in the state to see what they could make out of the two issues of Ekeukwu market relocation and the heap of refuse along Douglas road.”
